More Samoan Cooking, Class Rooms, Elder Gillette Chair Project, Track and Field Day

Some of  the young ladies I help teach.

The 11th and 12th grade students have to pass a government Samoa cooking test.  So here we go again with two days of cooking.

Getting the fish ready.

Getting the coconut out of the shell.  The use the cream in a lot of soups they make.

Chicken.  The basket were made  earlier.

Getting the fire ready.  That means getting the rocks good and hot.  Some of the rocks are place inside the pigs.

When the food is done they put them in this basket.

These time the just grilled the fish on hot rocks.

They brought these chicken from home.

They are all very good at weaving.

Taking the feather of the dead chickens.

Grilling some chicken on hot rocks.

This is chicken curry being cooked over the fire.  This is pretty good.

Moving hot rocks for inside the pig.

They put everything in the hot rocks and the banana leafs on top and cook.  It cooks so fast.

The pig is done.  The pig is good too.

She made chicken curry that day and it was very good.

Sister Williams and some more of young lady that are always taking to me.  I am getting to know a lot of them now.  Some of them come up and talk to me every day.  That helps to get to know there names.

Track and field day. We are House1(team1) are color is yellow.  We had to wear yellow shirts.

Races.  Most of them do not wear shoes.

Where did Elder Gillette go?

Elder Gillette got pictures of Elaine on the ground.  I was running over to her.

These young man were trying to help her to get up.  That when she stopped breathing.  Never been so scared in my whole life.  She is doing good.  I  know my prayer was answered.
